@Dean Dude, that's not the joke at all. The joke is that the dad is evaluating the reward (sticker) compared to the task that rewarded the sticker (cleaning the room) as less than the work required to get it, but then sees the awesome sticker and reevalutes it as an awesome sticker.
Like much of LunarBaboon's humor, this joke revolves the son letting his dad return to the more fun "kid" thinking from his more stodgy "adult" thinking. The thing that comes closest to implying your interpretation is the dad thinking that cleaning a bedroom would require a fair amount of effort, which it does or it wouldn't be considered a chore.
@Dean: I'm pretty sure the joke here is that the sticker is that great, not that "men are lazy". Put down the pitchfork and go do something nice for the woman that lives with you.
