Hey! I wear New Balance shoes and polo shirts, and my daughter says I'm cool, and......OH MY GOD.

The consumer "dad".

Eve's rib, self-effacing dolt, and the well-deserved butt of every sexist joke. He's the biggest one of all. His only "respect" comes from playing mini-mom and opening his wallet.

Thanks, Satan.

Those New Balance shoes look exactly like what my partner wears to work every day. Same color even. And those pants look a bit like the stretchy waist cop cargo pants he wears. And if that might be a short-sleeved work shirt and not a polo, then that's exactly the shirt he wears, although sometimes with plaid. Wtf? Is there a book of looks dads are working from? To be fair though, I think my guy looks awesome, and I have no problem with his dad drag other than amazement to see it so faithfully reproduced here. And all our three-year-old cares about is that there is enough beard to drag his face in for kissing.
